Yesmail ranks as a leading email service provider for the 3rd consecutive year

An independent research firm recognizes Yesmail's technology as one of the strongest in terms of business value and market suitability

OMAHA, NE, March 5, 2008 — Yesmail™ (an infoUSA®company, [NASDAQ: IUSA], a recognized industry-leading provider of permission-based online email marketing solutions, announced today that it has been designated a Market Leader in the Large-Enterprise Service Provider Category for the 2008 Jupiter Buyers Guide of Email Marketing Service Providers.
JupiterResearch's e-mail service provider (ESP) evaluation details the offerings of 32 vendors. JupiterResearch bases their overall value, suitability, and breadth on the distinct needs of three types of marketers, and places them in three categories (i.e., full-service, small-/midsize-business, and large-enterprise). In a recent Jupiter Research executive survey, the majority of e-mail executives said deliverability features and services of providers (70 percent) as well as overall cost (69 percent) were the most important considerations for selecting ESPs.

"In the recent survey, the majority of e-mail executives once again cited application usability (80 percent) as the most important product feature. Jupiter's guide called out Yesmail in this capacity stating, "Yesmail appreciably improved application usability and ease of use through Web 2.0 technologies. Moreover, all new application features are supported by in-application video tutorials. The application easily automates repeatable tasks, and the features dealing with content production and management are quite handy. The improved query tool also makes relational database queries fast and intuitive, removing the need for structured query language (SQL) knowledge. Enhancing the query tool is its Data Boost add-on, which allows data from the combined InfoUSA data store to be quickly appended to subscriber data, providing a relatively richer data set."
"Driven by multichannel integration, e-mail portability, and a tenured online population that is increasingly showing signs of entrenched behavior, e-mail marketing continues to become relatively more complex," noted the guide. And, Jupiter recognized Yesmail for it's innovation in this area citing, "Other new and useful features include a calendaring interface to manage campaigns." The calendar feature is unique to Yesmail and allows clients a simplified view of all their campaigns mailing each month in a color-coded timeline.
"As the e-mail market becomes increasingly mature, ESPs that lack tight integration with their clients or a satisfying process and service experience are susceptible to market churn," noted the guide. Jupiter found Yesmail resilient in this regard noting, "In addition to its application development, Yesmail continued to expand its services business and reach into the small-/midsize-business market, making it a suitable solution for a variety of organizations."
