As a senior member of the research and development team, this role will participate in the design and development of our online subscriber management and email campaign management solutions.
Experience
Minimum of 5-8 years of programming, systems analyst, software development or software engineering experience, with 2-3 years in a leading role
A fundamental understanding of web-based applications and email technology.
Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
You perform best under pressure.
Strong Java and Object Oriented Design & Development skills.
Prior projects using J2EE and EJB3 (prefer JBOSS)
AJAX and other web-based Java UI (prefer Java Server Faces)
Experience with SWING and other Java UI development tools highly desirable
Knowledge of JSP, DHTML, Python, PHP, Perl are all assets
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and mySQL
Knowledge of email related technologies and protocols such as SMTP
Familiar with both Linux and Windows environments
Good general knowledge about Internet and Email related technologies
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
Proven analytical and problem solving skills

Education
A Computer Science, Software Engineer or other technical university degree is preferred.
