Position: The Director of Media Services oversees the Media Services organization within Yesmail's Professional Services organization. The Director of Media Services will work closely with the Senior Director of Professional Services, Sales, Product Management, Client Services, and the Executive team to transform, build and grow Yesmail's set of Media products and services. The Director of Media Services is responsible for meeting revenue growth targets measured on a month-to-month and year-to-date basis. This is achieved by working with Media Service team members, Sales, and Client Services to expand and grow the overall business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and build regionally based Media Services team to evangelize, sell, and service all Yesmail clients utilizing Yesmail media product offering
  • Build strategic relationships with internal infoUSA stakeholders regarding the support and execution of key media products/services
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to standard Yesmail processes in respect to new agreements with vendors, clients, and other parties
  • Oversee monthly invoicing and overall relationship with Finance regarding client invoices and vendor payments
  • Own direct and brokered fulfillment, including relationship management of key brokers, in providing all Yesmail media products/services; including: Append, ECOA, Co-Registration, List Brokerage, Banner, Search, etc
  • Work directly with Yesmail Product Management and Technology in further ‘product-izing’ the Yesmail Media Services suite; this may include product definition and/or identification and evaluation of technology service partners
  • Own revenue responsibility for the Media Services organization including monthly and yearly revenue goals and fiscal, monthly, and weekly forecasting
  • Work directly with Sales and Client Services organizations to identify, sell, and cross-sell new or existing clients media products/services
  • Develop solid client relations. Serve as primary point of escalation and oversight for client engagements using media products/services.
  • Work with clients and media team to understand business objectives and develop/recommend media solutions to achieve those goals
  • Provide strategic guidance to Media Service team members, clients, and other internal Yesmail team members regarding how best to utilize media products/services

Experience

  • 5+ years minimum working experience in the interactive marketing vertical
  • 3+ years direct management experience
  • Experience with product development, strategic planning, business development, sales, and client services will all be strong considerations
  • Proven ability to transform, build and grow and organization
  • Proven ability to drive processes and decisions to closure
  • Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision required
  • Must be able to thrive under extremely high pressure and tight deadlines, and consistently deliver top-quality results
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups; ability to work tactfully through challenging client issues
  • An eye for details, and the dedication to pay attention to them

Education

Requires 4-year degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent working experience
