Responsibilities
Work with the development team to create cutting edge web applications
Partner with Product Managers to conceive, explore, refine, test, and launch improvements and additions to the Yesmail suite of web applications.
Share in the ownership and evolution of design standards, with emphasis on innovative solutions that can have a measurable difference.
Experience
8+ years of total experience in application development
4+ years of J2EE development including all Java environments
4+ years of HTML/JavaScript/DHTML/CSS experience, AJAX experience a plus, GWT experience preferred
4+ years of JDBC programming experience with Oracle preferred (Hypersonic, PostgreSQL desired)
Excellent knowledge of Test driven development experience with Junit (Selenium optional)
Must have experience in development with BOTH the Spring Web framework experience and Hibernate
Excellent understanding of J2EE application servers with preferred experience on Tomcat / JBOSS
Strong experience in cross-browser development and debugging
Able to work in a fast-paced agile development environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff.
Excellent knowledge of Ajax programming and other Web 2.0 technologies including Javascript libraries such as GWT, JQuery, Dojo etc. a plus
Ability to produce graphic assets for development and prototypes a plus.
