We are looking for QA Engineers to join our testing team. The position requires a self-motivated individual with excellent written and oral communication skills and experience in testing enterprise software. Candidates are expected to plan, design, and execute functional and system testing for large scale distributed systems as well as assist in creating a test automation test suite and infrastructure as necessary. This position will work directly with Senior Development Engineers and Senior QA Engineer to identify areas to focus testing activities, report and track defects and project schedules.
Responsibilities
Partner with multiple teams to conceive, explore, refine, test, and launch improvements and additions to the Yesmail application experiences.
Participate in the production and delivery multiple web applications scaling from the small business to enterprise markets
Experience
Minimum of 5+ years experience in Quality Assurance, with a thorough understanding of the role of QA in the software development lifecycle.
Proven track record for high quality product delivery.
Knowledge of various testing techniques and approaches.
Working in a fast-paced agile development environment.
Driven, creative, and result oriented.
Experience with structured programming and scripting languages required (e.g., Java, shell, Perl, Python)
Knowledge and hands-on experience with test automation tools (Selenium, JUnit, are a plus.)
Industry experience in testing large scale enterprise products.
Design, author and execute automated and manual test procedures
Document clear, concise and detailed product defect reports and work with developers to ensure their successful reproduction/resolution
Ability to work with minimum management overview
Work with Technical Support to resolve customer issues
Industry experience in SQL, XML skills and Relational Database.
Proficient in Unix/Linux.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users and support staff.
Familiarity with Ajax and other Web 2.0 technologies including JavaScript libraries such as Prototype, JQuery, Dojo, etc. a plus
Experience working with as part of a distributed team a plus
Database administration/development a plus
System administration experience a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
